Man Sentenced In South Windsor Pot Deal Shooting
A Hartford man was sentenced for a 2018 shooting.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - A Hartford man who shot and injured a South Windsor man in a drug deal gone wrong was sentenced to three years in prison, according to the Journal-Inquirer. Chad Ransom, 25, reached a plea deal in January and was convicted of first-degree assault for the February 2018 crime.
He will also serve three years of probation.
A dispute over the sale of one pound of marijuana led to the shooting at a home at 61 Gorski Drive. The man who was shot, Tyler Derohanian of South Windsor, suffered a shattered femur.
