Man Subdued With Taser In South Windsor Disturbance

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police had to subdue a man with a Taser during a disturbance at a South Windsor home Monday night, a report indicates.

At about 10 p.m. Monday, South Windsor police responded to a fight at a Misty Meadow Lane home.

When officers arrived, they noticed that one resident was injured, according to a report. The person's roommate, identified as 48-year-old David Goldman, became "uncooperative" and, after ignoring several police commands to move away, had to be subdued with a Taser so emergency crews could treat the injury, according to a report.

A police report did not eloborate on the extent of the injuries, nor did it identify the person hurt in the scuffle.

Goldman was charged with interfering with an officer, breach of peace and third-degree assault, according to a report.

Goldman was held overnight on a $75,000 bond and was to be arraigned in Manchester Superior Court Tuesday, police said.
