Manchester Man Accused of Violating Protective Order in South Windsor

The man was arrested Friday.

A Manchester man was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order Friday in South Windsor.

Corey Birch, 20, of 102 Wetherell Street, came to South Windsor police headquarters in the company of a woman who he was prohibited from seeing due to a protective order, according to police.

Birch was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Birch was released to the custody of the Manchester Police Department which held an arrest warrant for him. Birch was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 12.
