Missing Man From South Windsor Found By East Windsor Police Dog
Using the man's pillow case, the canine was able to pick up his scent and locate him quickly and safely, according to police.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An elderly man reported missing from South Windsor in the early morning hours Tuesday was quickly found by a police canine unit from neighboring East Windsor.
Around 3:30 a.m., Officer Adam Mitchell and his canine partner Mylo responded to assist South Windsor police in a search for the missing man, who had walked away from his home about 25 to 30 minutes earlier. A track was started, and Mylo picked up the man’s scent by using his pillow case, police said
The dog tracked about a half-mile to the back yard of a home, where a loud banging could be heard. It was determined the man had wandered into an unlocked house, which appeared to be vacant, and locked himself in the bathroom and was banging on the door, police said.
