More Details Emerge Concerning Why South Windsor Teacher Placed on Leave
School officials are investigating whether an inappropriate poem was read to students.

More details are beginning to surface concerning a South Windsor teacher who was placed on administrative leave after reading a “highly inappropriate” poem to students last week, WFSB 3 TV reports.
School officials are investigating and WFSB 3 quotes, Superintendent of Schools Kate Carter as saying, “we take seriously the trust that parents place in teachers and administrators, and we do not tolerate the use of inappropriate materials in classroom settings.”
Parents told WFSB 3 that the poem in question is called ‘Please, Master’ written by Allen Ginsberg.
