Onyx Spirits Company Hosts Whiskey Experience at M&R Liquors South Windsor on April 2, 2015

Onyx Spirits Company, Connecticut’s first and only distillery to produce whiskey in more than a century, is hosting an exclusive whiskey experience at M&R Liquors in South Windsor, Connecticut on Thursday April 2, 2014 from 6-8pm.

The whiskey experience will be led by Onyx Spirits Company co-founder, Adam von Gootkin, and their in-house whiskey maker, Kent Harrigan. Over the course of two hours, attendees will learn about the Onyx Moonshine family history, how their award-winning spirits are produced, understand the importance of water in whiskey making and tasting, and, of course, indulge in Onyx’s flavorful lineup including Onyx Moonshine, First Fill Secret Stash Private Barrel Whiskey, Second Fill Secret Stash Private Barrel Whiskey, and Secret Stash Reserve Whiskey.

Tickets for the event are $10 at the door and registration is required in advance. The fee covers the tasting plus light appetizers and will give participants 10% off of the entire range of Onyx Spirits Company products.
