Pasta Dinner Planned For South Windsor Dispatcher Battling Cancer

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A pasta dinner Saturday will raise money for South Windsor public safety dispatcher Ryan Fraley as he undergoes treatment for Stage 4 metastatic melanoma.

Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 and the South Windsor Emergency Communications Center are sponsoring the fundraiser from 3 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Farmington Community Center, 321 New Britain Ave.

Admission is $25 per person, with dine-in and takeout available. Guests can pay at the door or in advance through Venmo at @utfraley, according to the event flyer. Proceeds will go toward medical expenses and family support.

Fraley, 37, was diagnosed in February. Before joining the South Windsor Police Department as a dispatcher, he worked as an EMT with the Ambulance Service of Manchester and served as a firefighter with Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 in Unionville, as Patch previously reported.
