Authorities said the woman also threatened to kill an EMT who was treating her after the crash.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A New Britain woman is facing charges after South Windsor police said a crash investigation led to allegations that she was driving while under the influence.
Precious A. Edwards, 28, was arrested Monday, April 6, on an active warrant, according to the South Windsor Police Department. Police said the charges stem from a January 2026 motor vehicle accident in the area of John Fitch Boulevard and Governor’s Highway.
During that investigation, officers believed Edwards was under the influence of alcohol, police said. Police also alleged that she threatened to kill an EMT who was providing her care after the crash.
