A message to families...
At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning Timothy Edwards Middle School took the appropriate precautionary measure to evacuate the building due to a gas leak odor.

I recognize that the media alerts that went out caused alarm for parents. Please know we will always provide information that is timely and accurate for parents, but that will never compete with the speed with which news outlets choose to report on-going situations.
The safety of our students followed by thoughtful and factual information for parents will always be the order in which we respond.
Thank you…
Kate Carter, Superintendent of Schools
