Recent Arrests by South Windsor Police

April 2

Ashley Corneliuson, 25, of 350 Scantic Rd., East Windsor, was charged with operating under the influence and restricted turn.

  • On Saturday, April 2, 2016 shortly after midnight a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on Ellington Road near John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. The officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested Corneliuson. She was later released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 11, 2016.

Michael Deluca, 36, of 17 Schoolhouse Crossing, Wethersfield, was charged with operating under the influence and failure to have tail lamps.

  • On Saturday, April 2, 2016 shortly before midnight a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. The officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested Deluca. He was later released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 11, 2016.

April 5

David Andrews, 39, of 110 Newfield Ave., Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, credit card theft and fourth-degree larceny.

  • On Tuesday, April 5, 2016 South Windsor Police arrested Andrews on a warrant. His charges stem from an August 2015 complaint by a resident that Andrews had taken a credit card from his home and used it to purchase a $1,000 television. Officers identified Andrews from surveillance footage and later obtained an arrest warrant for him. Andrews was located Tuesday by West Hartford Police and arrested by SWPD officers on the active arrest warrant. He was later released on $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 14, 2016.

April 6

Lindsey Desousa, 25, of 15 Belmont Ave., Enfield, was charged with operating under the influence and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.

  • On Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at about 1:00 a.m. a South Windsor Police officer observed a vehicle being operated northbound in the southbound lanes of Route 5 at Governors Highway. Two officers were able to block southbound traffic near Edwin Road and stop the offending vehicle. The officers suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested Desousa. She was later released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 18, 2016.
