Rt. 291, I-84 Lane Closures in Manchester on Wednesday

Bridge inspection work at two points will close a lane in each direction at spots between the Exit 61 ramps of Interstate 84 (in both eastbound- and westbound-lane sides) and Interstate 291 westbound lane, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.

These lane closures (and a shoulder closure) will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14:

• A right lane will be closed near the Exit 61 exit ramp for the WESTbound I-84.
• Another right-lane closure will take place at a spot between the I-84 EASTbound-side Exit 61 and Exit 4 on Rt. 291.
• In addition, a right-lane shoulder will be closed on the westbound side of I-84 at one spot between the Interstate 84/Interstate 384 split and Exit 61.
