September 30: Women’s Fashion Boutique Scout & Molly’s Hosts Grand Opening at the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk

South Windsor, Conn. – September 18, 2017 – Scout & Molly’s, the new women’s fashion boutique bringing a unique and personal shopping experience to The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk (South Windsor, Conn.), announces its Grand Opening Celebration to take place Saturday, September 30. Owner Michelle McNeilly is excited to welcome the local community to check out her shop’s one-of-a-kind array of stylish clothing and accessories, and meet the team ready to help select apparel and accents to complement every individual style.

Shoppers are invited to stop by Saturday to check out the newest boutique and shop the latest fall trends. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, enter to win a $250 gift card, and experience the music of acoustic guitarist Travis Winkley. At 10am, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will officially launch the Grand Opening celebration with State Representative Tom Delnicki, a representative from Mayor Carolyn Mirek’s office, and South Windsor Chamber of Commerce members.

As a career-driven mom of two children working full time for a Fortune 500 company, McNeilly had limited personal time. The rare occasion she had a moment to shop for a new look, she often headed to local boutiques. “While there were times I felt intimidated by staff from higher-end retailers, I enjoyed perusing the eclectic mix of unique styles created by well-known designers at local boutiques,” said McNeilly. With Scout & Molly’s, McNeilly is bringing to life the shopping experience she believes all women deserve.

“I decided to open my own Scout & Molly's because I believe in the importance and value of personal service. My mission is to style women in the latest, high-quality fashion in a fun, supportive environment, where every woman feels like she is shopping in her best friend’s closet,” said McNeilly. “Our trained staff offers customized advice tailored to each individual shopper, with helpful guidance to transform every woman into her best self."

McNeilly and her husband, Joshua, both grew up on the shore in Maine and moved their family to Connecticut six years ago. When their daughter, Madison, became a teenager, she and McNeilly shared a love for fashion. “Some of my fondest mother/daughter memories include quality time together shopping unique styles offered at local boutiques,” said McNeilly. Today they are thrilled to bring a fun, high-fashion, unintimidating shopping experience to all who enter Scout & Molly’s.
