South Windsor Police have arrested a third person in connection to a counterfeit currency case over the summer.

Police arrested Dezmond Bonds, 24, of 46 Great Hill Road in East Hartford, on a warrant on Nov. 16. Bonds was charged with conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and first-degree forgery.

Bonds’ charges stem from an August 2015 investigation in which a local business sold a $650 money order to a woman who paid with counterfeit currency, according to Deputy Chief Scott Custer.
