South Windsor Apple Harvest Festival

South Windsor’s first annual Apple Harvest Festival will celebrate the fall season on October 2nd at the Nevers Park, Rotary Pavilion from 11am to 4pm. The festival will feature a beer garden, dozens of crafters selling handmade items including jewelry, soaps, lotions, quilts, embroidered items, and candles. Food for sale will include apple pie a la mode, Faddy’s warm fresh-made cinnamon doughnuts, Chet’s Italian Ice, Bubble Tea, lemonade, fresh popped kettle corn, local honey, breads, tea, and other specialty foods. For the kids, there will be face painting, an Alpaca petting zoo, and pony rides. The festival also features a talent showcase with musicians, hip hop, and Irish step dancers. In addition, there will be a voter registration booth. Admission is free.
