South Windsor Electronic Recycling Collection set for Nov. 1

The next Electronic Recycling collection will be on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town Hall in the rear parking lot.

The following electronic recyclables are acceptable: cell phones, computers, copiers, fax machines, IPods, and POAs, modems, monitors, peripherals (keyboards, mouse, etc.) printers, stereo and radio equipment, telephones and telephone equipment, televisions, typewriters, speakers, microwave ovens, digital cameras, VCR’s, DVD players.

If you have any of the items listed above in your home and don’t intend to use them or give them away, please bring them to the Town’s E-Recycling Collection on Saturday, November 1, 2014.

Signs will be used to control traffic flow through the site; access to the site will be from Sullivan Avenue. The E-waste contractor will be on site to receive the E-waste directly from each resident.
