South Windsor Ends Mini-Losing Streak With Big Win Over Fermi

The Bobcats improved to 14-3 after posting an 8-3 victory in a home game at Rotary Field.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Joseph Ceppetelli pitched a complete game five-hitter and also helped himself with the bat, leading South Windsor past Fermi 8-3 in CCC North baseball action Thursday at Rotary Field.

Ceppetelli struck out seven while walking just one to earn the victory. He also drove in a pair of runs.

The Bobcats scored two runs in the first, two more in the third to take the lead for good, and put the game away with a four-run fourth.

Thomas Sand had two hits, including a double, and knocked in a pair of runs for the winners. James Tamburro also had two hits, while Jacob Siracusa belted a double and drove in a run.

The win snapped a mini two-game losing streak for the Bobcats, upping their record to 14-3.
