The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the second largest grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics nation wide (LETR in Connecticut raises $500,000 annually). Special Olympics Connecticut offers 27 Olympic-type sports and 75+ competitions annually and provides year round sports training and competition for 13,000 athletes and partners (people without disabilities who train and compete with our athletes) throughout the state. In 2013 the South Windsor Police Department was the #1 fund raising agency in Connecticut. Our goal for this event is $10,000.00. With your help that goal is achievable
