South Windsor Man Accused of Interfering with a 911 Call
The arrest stems from a domestic dispute in which a cell phone was broken while the person tried to call 911.

A South Windsor man was arrested on several charges after allegedly breaking a cell phone while a person attempted to call 911 during a domestic dispute, according to a police press release.
South Windsor police arrested Justin Oliva, 28, of 115 Beldon Road, on a warrant Monday and charged him with breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and interference with an emergency call.
The arrest stems from an incident on Sunday, Dec. 21 in which South Windsor police responded to a domestic dispute at a Beldon Road home.

Police said that Oliva had struggled with family members and broke a cell phone as a resident attempted to call 911. Oliva fled in a relative’s car, according to police, and officers attempted to locate him unsuccessfully Sunday night.
An arrest warrant was obtained and then served on Monday afternoon.

Oliva was held on $25,000 surety bond and was presented at Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday morning.
