South Windsor Man Allegedly Robs 2 Banks to Bail Girlfriend Out of Jail
The man is accused of robbing banks in Middletown and East Hartford.

A South Winsor man has been charged with robbing two banks at the end of March and told police he did it so he could get money to bail his girlfriend out of jail, according to WTNH News 8.
East Hartford police arrested Martin Silvestro, 31, of Candlewood Drive, on a warrant Friday for the robbery of a Wells Fargo in Middletown.
WTNH reports that Silvestro was already in custody for robbing a First Niagara Bank in East Hartford the day before. He was charged with that robbery on April 1.
