South Windsor Man Charged with Assault
The man was arrested after a domestic dispute on Monday.

A South Windsor man was charged with assault during a domestic dispute on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a Joseph Lane home at about 12 noon on Sept. 28 and officers learned that a male living in the home had broken a ceramic pipe against a wall and grabbed a female resident during an argument, according to Deputy Chief Scott Custer.
Officers arrested the man, Bassam Chreiha, 46, of 44 Joseph Lane, on a charge of third-degree assault.

Chreiha was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
