South Windsor Man Wins $10,000 At Gas Station

Had winning Play Four numbers, can now afford a few fill-ups at the pump.

SOUTH WINDSOR/WINDSOR — Despite obscene gas prices, a South Windsor man enjoyed a successful trip to a Windsor gas station last week, turning a Play 4 ticket into a $10,000 prize.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp. website, South Windsor resident Ryan Rankin Mccausland picked the right numbers for a $10,000 prize last Thursday, June 2.

The winning numbers were for the night-time Play Four drawing and they were 4-7-2-3, according to the CT Lotto website listing the June 2 game results.

The ticket was purchased at the Windsor Avenue Citgo station in Windsor, according to CT Lotto.

With gas approaching $5 a gallon, $10,000 might be able to fill a 2,000-gallon fuel tank or fill up a vehicle with a 15-gallon tank more than 133 times.
