South Windsor Obituary: Cynthia Piacentini, 57

Condolences to her family and friends.

Cynthia E. Piacentini, 57, of South Windsor, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Carl and Elsie (Enes) Piacentini on November 30, 1959. She graduated from South Windsor High School Class of 1977. Cindy worked as a Veterinary Technician and loved animals. She was a big NASCAR fan, particularly Jimmie Johnson. She enjoyed driving her Jeep and riding her Harley. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening as well.

Cindy is survived by her siblings, Carol Castle and her husband Don of Enfield; Carlo Piacentini and his wife Suzanne of South Windsor; Claire Mascolo and her husband Joseph of Terryville; Craig Piacentini and his wife Lori of South Windsor; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie and her husband Robert, Paul, Caitlynn and her fiancé John, Kevin, Hillary, Correy, David; her great nephew Darius.

The Piacentinis would like to extend a very special thank you to Cindy's caregivers, Diane and Debbie, for the exceptional care shown to her and to her good friends Bill, Kim, Chuck and Dave.

Memorial Calling Hours are being held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, from 4 to 6:30 pm with a service at the funeral home at 6:30 pm. Burial will be private at the request of her family.
