South Windsor Opens Cooling Center
The heat index is expected to surpass 100 degrees today.

Due to the forecasted heat the town has opened one cooling center at the South Windsor Community Center located at 150 Nevers Road. It will be open from now until 10 p.m. tonight. Also, citizens can contact the 2-1-1 Info-line for alternate shelters and out-of-town resources.
