South Windsor Panthers Football and Cheerleading Award Scholarships

The South Windsor Panthers Football and Cheerleading program has announced the following two students as the recipients of its first-ever college scholarships:

• Gabrielle Berthiaume - Gabrielle will be attending Quinnipiac University where she will major in pre-med.

• Matthew Braddock - Matt will be attending Central Connecticut State University, where he plans to major in physical education and also play football.

Scott Higgins, the media coordinator for the Panthers' board of directors, said that the scholarships will be awarded annually.

Braddock and Berthiaume were selected, according to Higgins, based on their excellent academics, their prior participation in the Panthers’ program and their willingness to give back to the program.
