South Windsor Police Announce Results from Click It or Ticket Initiative
The campaign continues throughout this week.
South Windsor police announce the following results from its seatbelt enforcement event Thursday morning on Route 5: 55 infraction tickets issued (29 seatbelt violations/20 distracted driving, 6 misc. other violations), 6 written warnings,4 verbal warnings, 1 misdemeanor summons and 2 vehicles towed due to violations.
The federally funded Click It or Ticket campaign continues this week and police remind residents to drive safely and wear your seatbelt — they do save lives!
