South Windsor Police Announce Tip-A-Cop Results

The event raised funds for Special Olympics.

On Thursday, June 11, South Windsor police officers and staff participated in the Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop event at the Red Onion Restaurant.

The event was held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and our officers and staff served as waiters and waitresses. All of the tips received by the officers and restaurant staff were donated to the Special Olympics of Connecticut.

This year’s event raised over $12,000.00 for this great cause. The event was coordinated by South Windsor Police Agent Ron Littell; he can be reached at Ronald.littell@southwindsor.org
