South Windsor Police Arrest Two on Larceny Charges

Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department.

The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

South Windsor police recently arrested an East Hartford man for allegedly taking and using an acquaintance’s debit card to purchase items.

John Taylor, 22, of 148 Columbus Street, was arrested on a warrant Feb. 18 for the March 2014 incident.

He was charged with sixth-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card and receiving goods by illegal use of a credit card. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

Police also arrested a South Windsor woman on a warrant for allegedly switching price tags on items to purchase them at a significant discount.

Stephanie Desanto, 39, of 50 Ayers Road, was arrested Feb. 18 for the September 2014 incident.

She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was later released on a $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 26.
