South Windsor Police Arrests Include Charges of DUI, Larceny

Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department.

The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol:

On Sunday, Nov. 1, at about 1 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on Buckland Road for a violation. The officer suspected the operator was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests, officers arrested the operator, Christopher Davis, 30 of 53 North Street, Manchester. During an inventory search of his car, officers found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey control signal, failure to drive in proper lane, possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 9.

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the Sixth degree:

South Windsor Police arrested Seth Glasgow, 30, of 25 North Elm Street, Manchester, and Treveonna Glasgow, 25, of the same address, on Nov. 11 on warrants in connection to a December 2014 incident in which store security at a Buckland Road retail store observed the pair involved in a suspicious transaction, according to police.

Police said store staff watched the pair load a shopping cart with expensive items and then Treveonna, a seasonal employee, rang up only $25 and Seth pushed the carriage out of the store. He was stopped by store security and interviewed and store security later reported the incident to the police.

Both parties were charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and were later released on $1,500 non-surety bond. They are scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 19.

Breach of Peace:

Monica Mulvey, 25, of 184 Windsorville Road, South Windsor, was arrested Nov. 12 on a warrant and charged with breach of peace.

Police said Mulvey’s charge stems from a domestic incident that occurred on Oct. 31. The fight was reported to the police the following day and an arrest warrant was obtained based on the statements given. Mulvey was charged with breach of peace and was held on $2,000 surety bond.

Breach of Peace in the Second degree:

On Sunday, Nov. 15, South Windsor Police were dispatched to a physical domestic at a Main Street home. Officers learned a woman had pushed her way into a relative’s home on Main Street and struggled with the man as he attempted to keep her out of the house.

Officers arrested the woman, Dominique Mercure, 27, of 1846 Main Street, South Windsor. She was charged with breach of peace and was held on $5,000 surety bond and was due in court on Nov. 16.

Breach of Peace in the Second degree:

Alexander Bonilla, 27, of 184 Windsorville Road, South Windsor, was arrested Nov. 13 on a warrant and charged with breach of peace.

Police said Bonilla’s charge stems from a domestic incident that occurred on Oct. 31. The fight was reported to the police the following day and an arrest warrant was obtained based on the statements given.

Criminal Violation of a Protective Order:

Matthew Polczynski, 33, of 18 Elizabeth Street, Enfield, was arrested Nov. 16 on a warrant. Polczynski was charged with criminal violation of a protective order. He was later released on $50,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Police said Polczynski’s charge stems from a May 2015 incident in which he is accused of visiting a local woman’s home in violation of a protective order.
