South Windsor Police Arrests Include Criminal Impersonation, Assault, Larceny Charges
Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department.
The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Brian Brown, 25, of Hartford Turnpike in Vernon, was arrested March 26 on an arrest warrant. He was charged with interfering with an officer and criminal impersonation. Brown was later released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 9.
Brown’s charges stem from a February 2015 incident in which he identified himself to officers using a relative’s identifiers. The false identity was later discovered and an arrest warrant was obtained for Brown.

Filomena Huppe, 25, of Chickasaw Drive in East Hartford, was arrested March 26 on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. South Windsor Police responded to a Wedgewood Lane home for an active physical dispute at about 7 p.m. on March 26. It was reported that an intoxicated female had struck her mother in the face.
Joseph Levesque, 49, of Williams St. in Manchester, was arrested March 15 on a warrant and charged with violation of probation.

Justin Gay, 18, of Alexander Drive in East Hartford, was arrested March 16 on a warrant and charged with sixth-degree larceny. The arrest stems from a February 2015 complaint from a Buckland Road retail store that Gay, an employee, had admitted to stealing an iPad on a previous occasion.
Interfering with an Officer/Evading Responsibility:
On Wednesday, March 18 at about 10:30 p.m., South Windsor Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Strong Road. A car had struck a utility pole and the operator fled the area. Officers later identified and located the operator at his Neiderwerfer Road home. Officers arrested the man, Ross Jalbert, 21, of 260 Neiderwerfer Road, and charged him with interfering with an officer, evading responsibility and failure to drive in proper lane. Jalbert was later released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 2.
Elvin Burgos, 31, of Zion Street in Hartford, was arrested March 18 on a charge of second-degree failure to appear. A South Windsor Police officer stopped a car on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation. Officers learned the operator, Burgos, was wanted on an arrest warrant.
