South Windsor Police: Man Stole $1,300 Worth of Items from Retail Store
The man was arrested on a warrant after store security was unable to stop him.

South Windsor police recently arrested a Hartford man for allegedly stealing $1,300 worth of merchandise from a Buckland Hills Drive retail store.
Police arrested Daryl Beaufort, 46, of 15 Goodrich Street, on a warrant June 30 at Manchester Superior Court where he was being held on other charges. He was charged with fourth-degree larceny and was held on a $20,000 surety bond.
Police said Beaufort’s charge stems from an incident in June at a Buckland Hills Drive retail store in which store security observed him take two tote bags, three wristwatches, and seven sets of headphones from the store. The value of the stolen items was $1,300, according to police.
