South Windsor Police Raise Funds For Special Olympics
Officers raised more than $850 at Tuesday's "Tip-A-Cop" event at Dunkin' Donuts.

On Tuesday June 16, South Windsor police officers participated in the Special Olympics “Tip-A-Cop” program. This event took place at the Dunkin Donuts store located at 855 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and raised over $850.00 for the Special Olympics.
Last week’s Tip a Cop event at the Red Onion Restaurant raised over $11,000.00. Thank you to everyone who came out to support CT Special Olympics!

During “Tip a Cop” events police officers serve as waiters and waitresses and all of the tips received by the officers are donated to the Special Olympics of Connecticut. These events are coordinated by Agent Ron Littell; he can be reached at ronald.littell@southwindsor.org.
