South Windsor Police Recognized as Top Fundraising Team for Special Olympics
The department earned the top spot for the fourth straight year.

From the South Windsor Police Department:
We are proud to announce that the South Windsor Police Department has earned the spot as top fundraising team for the Connecticut Special Olympics for the fourth consecutive year.
Last year South Windsor raised $56,712 through the generosity and hard work of all the volunteers at events such as the Tip-A-Cop at the Red Onion Restaurant, the Haunted Torch Walk & Fall Fest and the Penguin Plunge.

These events were organized by our own Agent Ron Littell who continues to challenge himself and others to raise funds for this great organization. Kudos to Ron and all our community and business supporters! These efforts enrich the lives and help support the 14,000 athletes who participate in the Special Olympics CT programs year-round.
