South Windsor Police Search for Intruder, Find Marijuana
A town man faces charges after police found marijuana in the home after they were called on a report of suspicious noises.

A South Windsor man faces charges after police were called to his house to look for possible intruders and later found marijuana in the home.
Jason Sheffield, 27, of 115 Diane Drive, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday for the January incident.
Police responded to a call from another household member regarding suspicious noises in the home. The officers were asked to check the house for intruders and while doing so, saw a jar of marijuana in a bedroom.

Officers seized the marijuana and later determined it belonged to Sheffield, according to police.
Sheffield was charged with possession of marijuana (less than 4 ounces) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheffield was later released on a $500 cash bond. Sheffield is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on March 12.
