UPDATE: Wanted Man in South Windsor is Now in Custody
Police said Barry Simpson, 49, has made both suicidal and homicidal threats in the past.
Update, 8:45 p.m. South Windsor police said that Simpson has been taken into custody in Chicoppee, Massachusetts, without incident.
Original post: South Windsor police are searching for a wanted former town resident who has made both suicidal and homicidal threats and may be armed with a large hunting knife, according to police.
Police said Barry Simpson, 49, is believed to currently reside in Chicopee, Mass. He is wanted for criminal violation of a restraining order on an extraditable warrant from South Windsor PD stemming from domestic violence charges.

Police said he is believed to operating a gray 2012 Toyota Corolla Massachusetts registration 549WXV. Anyone with information is asked to contact South Windsor Police immediately at (860) 644-2551 or if he is sighted dial 911.
