South Windsor Police Warn Residents of Postcard Scam
The postcard says the office is trying to reach you for a parcel claim.
South Windsor Police posted the following message to residents on Facebook:
Have you received one of these postcards? It’s a scam- they promise to mail you jewelry once you give up your credit card information. A quick Google search of Notice of Parcel Claim UMC shows other complaints. Don’t call the number, just throw it away.
Remember, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is....
