South Windsor Public Schools Closed Wednesday
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect, and snow has made roads in town and throughout the area very slippery.
The Superintendent's office has announced that all South Windsor Public Schools will be closed today, Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Town and school offices will be open.
Snow began to fall before dawn, and according to the National Weather Service, snow, sleet, and rain will continue through 3 p.m. Additional daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is expected on top of what has already fallen. Highs near 36° are predicted for Wednesday.

A Winter Weather Advisory for the area was issued Tuesday afternoon, and is in effect until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
