South Windsor Roads to Close During Hartford Marathon Saturday

A pair of South Windsor roadways are part of the 26.2 mile marathon course.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A portion of Saturday's Eversource Hartford Marathon will be run in South Windsor, necessitating closure of a pair of town streets.

The race route includes King and Main streets, which will be closed to all traffic from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to South Windsor police.

Police advise Main Street and King Street residents who anticipate needing to leave during the race to park their vehicles on Chapel Road, Pleasant Valley Road, Newberry Road, Governors Highway, Strong Road or Sullivan Avenue.
