South Windsor's Caouette has Great Week in Goal

South Windsor resident Zowie Caouette recently had a great week playing goalie  for the Mid-Fairfield Connecticut Stars U-16-2 girls hockey team.

Indeed, Caouette had three shutouts, a .966 save percentage and a .76 goals-against-average in the Polar Bears Tournament, culminating with a 2-1 double-overtime victory over the Assabet White Major of Massachusetts on Dec. 30, 2012.

Mid-Fairfield went 4-1-1 in the tournament and surrendered just five goals.
