South Windsor Store Employee Accused of Forging Business Checks

An employee of a Buckland Road business has been arrested.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An employee of a Buckland Road clothing store has been charged with second-degree forgery for allegedly issuing herself company checks, police said.

Kathryn Ross, 21, of Manchester, was also charged with sixth-degree larceny police said.

Police did not name the store and referred to it as a "women's clothing store" in an arrest report. Police did say Ross worked there.

The charges stem from a 2017 complaint, police said. She was arrested on March 27, released on a $5,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on April 5, according to a report.
