Thieves Hit South Windsor Home in Broad Daylight

South Windsor police said a home was broken into during the daylight hours on Wednesday.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police said they are are investigating a Wednesday daytime burglary at 1201 Strong Road.

The theft took place between 8 a.m and noon today, police said.

The back door was kicked in and a TV, jewelry, and several gaming systems were taken.

The house sits at the intersection of Strong Road and Pierce Road right across from Desmond’s Pond, police said.

Police said because the home is in a high traffic area, they are asking for anyone who may have seen something suspicious to call investigators at 860-644-2551.
