Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Arrest in South Windsor
A woman was charged with DUI early Thursday morning.

South Windsor Police charged a Vernon woman with DUI following a motor vehicle stop on Thursday.
A South Windsor police officer stopped a vehicle on John Fitch Blvd. for a violation at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 1.
The officer suspected that the operator was under the influence of alcohol.

Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the woman, Vicki Brodeur, 53, of 94 West Street, Vernon, police said.
She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to have tail lamps.

Brodeur was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 19.
