Trio Busted on Alleged Larceny, Conspiracy Charges

The arrests are in connection with thefts from two South Windsor stores including significant amount of groceries and clothes, police said.

A trio of women were arrested by South Windsor Police on larceny and conspiracy charges in connection with October thefts from two undisclosed local stores, according to officials.

Police said the group stole about $500 worth of children’s clothing from one store, and a “large amount of groceries” from a supermarket. In both cases, the thefts were captured on surveillance video, which helped police identify the suspects.

Arrested were Shamiya Brown, 25, of Rood Road in Windsor; Juquana Little, 26, of Enfield Street in Hartford; and Tishonda Jordan, 33, of Garden Street also in Hartford.

The three were charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the Fourth degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the Sixth degree and Larceny in the Sixth degree. They were held in lieu of $2,500.00 court-set surety bonds and were scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester Superior Court.
