Weekend Tag Sale to Benefit Historical Society

The South Windsor Historical Society will hold a household tag sale at 99 Main St., South Windsor, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 22, 23, and 24.
The 1850's home was recently purchased by State Rep. Bill Aman, who is donating the contents to the Society. Included are couches, tables, chairs, antique lamps, trunks, wind-up Victrola, metal bed frames, etc. The miscellaneous contents of an adjoining storage building will also be sold.
Proceeds will benefit the on-going renovation of the Union District School, which is being developed as a local history museum and cultural arts center.
