Woman Accused of Pushing Carriage Full of Groceries out of Stop & Shop in South Windsor Without Paying

A Hartford woman allegedly tried to push a carriage full of groceries out of Stop and Shop in South Windsor without paying last week.
Michelle Robinson, 48, of 900 Garden St. in Hartford, was arrested Sept. 25 on a charged of sixth-degree larceny.
Stop and Shop staff notified South Windsor police that a woman had pushed a shopping cart full of groceries out of the store without paying and was walking down Ellington Road, according to a police press release.

Police located and arrested Robinson.
Robinson was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 9.
