Woman Arrested on Drug Charges After Found Asleep in a Vehicle in South Windsor
Crack cocaine pipes and cocaine residue was found inside the vehicle.

A Stafford Springs woman was recently arrested on several charges after police found her sleeping in a vehicle with crack cocaine pipes and cocaine residue inside the vehicle, according to a police press release.
South Windsor police were dispatched to a Route 5 gas station at 7 a.m. on Nov. 30 on a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers found two occupants sleeping in the vehicle, which also had crack cocaine pipes and cocaine residue inside, according to police.

Officers then arrested one of the persons, Jessica Thomas, 31, of 22 Whispering Pines in Stafford Springs.
Thomas was also found to have three pending re-arrest warrants from another agency for missed court dates on motor vehicle charges.

Thomas was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer and three counts of second-degree failure to appear.
