Woman Charged in Identity Theft Case: South Windsor Police

Investigators used video footage of fraudulent debit card transactions to identify the suspect, according to police.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT – A 25-year-old Manchester woman has been charged in connection to an identity theft case in South Windsor.

South Windsor Police arrested Imani Henderson, 25, of 61 Hemlock St., Manchester, on an arrest warrant on Feb. 24. She was charged with third-degree identity theft and illegal use of a credit card.

Police said Henderson’s charges stem from a November 2015 complaint by a South Windsor resident that someone had charged more than $400 to her debit card account.

Investigators used video footage of the fraudulent transactions in Windsor to identify the suspects.

An arrest warrant was later obtained for Henderson and served Wednesday morning.

She was held on a $20,000 surety bond and was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
