90 MPH Jaunt on I-84 Leads to Drug, Impersonation Charges
A Manchester woman and East Hartford man were charged after a 90 mph jaunt on I-84, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — A highway speeding incident led to drug and impersonation charges, state police said.
On Tuesday at about 6 p.m., a trooper positioned along the eastbound lanes of Interstate-84 in Willington observed a vehicle speed past him at 90 mph, according to an arrest report.
The two people inside the car seemed nervous and neither had a photo ID, according to an arrest report. They granted consent to search the car and troopers located heroin, needles and crack cocaine inside, according to an arrest report.

The two initially gave state police the personal information for siblings, but they were later identified as 30-year-old Kayla Ann Freeman of Manchester and 61-year-old Rohan Naraine of East Hartford, according to an arrest report.
Naraine was charged with driving while under suspension, reckless driving, driving under the influence, criminal impersonation and interfering, according to an arrest report. He has outstanding warrants out of the the state probation department and Wethersfield, state police said.

Freeman was charged with possession of a controlled substance possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and interfering. She also has outstanding warrants out of New Britain and Newington, state police said.
