• Hit-And-Run Driver Caught After Leaving Plate Behind In Stafford: State police (patch.com) — State police say a hit-and-run crash on West Stafford Road was quickly solved after troopers found the fleeing vehicle's front license plate at the scene. The plate led investigators from Stafford to an apartment in Vernon, where a 35-year-old Ashford man was arrested on charges including evading responsibility and interfering with police.
