• Suspected Drunken Driver Fights With Troopers After Speeding Onto Sidewalk In Stafford: Crash Report (patch.com) — Residents in Stafford may be alarmed after state police say a driver allegedly sped a Nissan Rogue over a curb and onto the sidewalk near East Main Street while two 14-year-olds were in the vehicle. Troopers report the 47-year-old driver from Waterbury refused sobriety tests, fought with officers during the arrest and processing, and now faces nine criminal charges, including DUI and risk of injury to a minor.
