WILLINGTON, CT — A 72-year-old Ashford woman was charged with drunken driving after getting her car stuck on a guardrail in Willington, state police said.

According to a crash report, troopers were dispatched to Tolland Turnpike near Kollar Road at 2:11 p.m. last Thursday after receiving reports about a vehicle stuck on the guardrail. While speaking to the driver, troopers suspected she was intoxicated and she refused to take a sobriety test, according to an arrest report.

She was arrested for driving under the influence and a lane violation and was given court date of Dec. 19, state police said.
